Compare teams
Teams that choose to take part see their figures beside what is typical for the teams here - never ranked, never about a person.
In short
A team can choose to see its work figures beside what is typical for the teams here. Teams are never ranked, no other team is named, and nothing is about a person.
Before you start
- Who: the team's own lead or deputy decides to take part. The report is for people who see the organization's analytics.
- Plan: Analytics is part of every plan, Free included. Comparison starts once three teams take part.
- First: a team of at least three people on every day of a month shows for that month.
Take part
- Open the team's page in Organizations.
- Under "Comparison of teams", press "Take part". The team's people are told.
- To stop, press "Withdraw": the team leaves every comparison at once, and kept copies of reports that named it are deleted.
What is compared, and what never is
Only figures about the work are compared. On a team's own cards, Teams here gives what is typical for the teams that take part (the middle half once eight or more do). It starts once three teams take part; until then the card says Not enough teams yet.
- A person, or anything one person did.
- A month in which the team had fewer than three people on any day.
- Teams in an order: no team is ranked, and no other team is named.
- The assistant never reads the comparison.
The Team comparison report
People who see the organization's analytics find Team comparison under Reports, in "How is the team working together?". It lists the teams that take part in name order, never in order of their figures. Each team has last month's value, its five months before and how it moved, beside what is typical. It has no AI summary.
Good to know
- The team's own lead or deputy decides. Only where nobody leads the team does a lead of a team above it, or someone who arranges teams, decide.
- A hidden team, or a team of a sample organization, is never compared.
- To undo: "Withdraw" removes the team from every comparison at once and deletes kept reports that named it.
If something goes wrong
- "Not enough teams take part yet": fewer than three teams take part. Nothing is built, and a schedule of the report sends nothing and says why.
- "The team comparison is for the people who read this organization's analytics."
