Arrange the Overview
Add, hide, rename and reorder widgets and learn what the named widgets show.
In short
Arrange the Usage dashboard your way: add, hide, rename, resize and reorder its widgets. The arrangement is saved to your account and affects nobody else.
Before you start
- Who: anyone who can see the Usage dashboard. The arrangement is yours alone.
- Plan: Analytics is part of every plan, Free included.
- First: open the Usage dashboard and press "Customize".
Steps
- Open Analytics, choose "Usage" in the dashboard switcher and press "Customize" at the top of the screen.
- Use a widget's menu: Rename, "Make wider" or Make narrower, "Remove from overview", Move up or Move down - or drag it by its handle.
- Press "Add widget…" to add one not on the page; search by title.
- Press "Done" when you finish. "Reset layout" restores the default set.
The named widgets
The metric widgets
Every other widget is one number with its module's icon and a line saying what it counts. Totals cover the whole scope; a title with "in window" covers the chosen period; latency is in milliseconds.
Good to know
- Remove only hides a widget; find it again under Add widget. The single-metric widgets start hidden, so add the handful you watch most.
- "Modules shown" switches whole modules' widgets off for this visit only.
- The arrangement follows you between devices.
- To undo: "Reset layout" restores the default set. "Remove from overview" only hides a widget.
