Pause, run or fix a schedule
Read the Schedules list and deal with a run that failed or paused.
In short
The "Scheduled" list shows every schedule with its next and last run. Run one now to check it, edit, pause or delete it, and read why a run failed.
Before you start
- Who: the person the schedule runs as, or anyone who may edit it. Run now sends real email to the recipients.
- Plan: Analytics is part of every plan, Free included.
- First: open Analytics › "Reports" › "Scheduled".
Steps
- Open Analytics › "Reports", then choose "Scheduled".
- Read "Last run": the time of the last run, linked to its saved report - or Failed, with the reason under the name.
- Use "Run now" to check recipients and wording, "Edit" to change it, "Pause" or "Resume", or "Delete".
What each action does
One schedule per question A schedule has one report and one target. For three projects, make three, and name them so the subject line says which is which.
Good to know
- A failed run keeps the cadence; the schedule tries again next time.
- A schedule keeps the time you set in the zone it was saved in, also after the clocks change. One with no zone runs in UTC.
- If you manage your organization's people, "Sent to your organization" under the list sets what the platform emails on its own: whether team leads get it too, and which parts it keeps. Each change saves at once, and each person can stop the email from the email.

When a schedule stops
- A run that fails is told to you in the inbox, and the schedule shows why. It tries again at its next time.
- A schedule that pauses - you left the organization, your account can no longer act, or you may no longer email its audience - is told to you, and when you left, to whoever manages the organization's people.
- If you press "Run now" just as the schedule is due, that is its run for the day: it is not sent twice. While it is being sent, "Run now" says so and waits.
- If the schedule was changed in another tab, saving offers "Reload" or "Keep mine".
- When the owner of a schedule leaves the organization, the person their work is handed to takes the schedule over if they could make the same schedule themselves - same report, target, people and channels - and is told in their inbox. Otherwise it stops at its next run.
