Run a report

Open a report from the catalog, choose what it covers and run it.

In short

A report turns one module's numbers into a page: a headline of key figures, then charts and tables. Pick a report - or start from a recipe - choose what it covers and the period, and the numbers show at once. Save the report to keep this copy, so the next one shows what changed.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open Analytics and choose "Reports". "Catalog" comes first, beside "Saved", "Scheduled" and "Rules".
  2. Click a report's card, or one of the recipes under "Start from a recipe". Its numbers show at once - a preview of the report worked out now, not saved and without an AI summary.
  3. If the report runs against something, choose a project, board or organization in the first drop-down. "All" covers everything you can see.
  4. Choose the "Period": the last 7, 14, 30, 90 or 180 days, the last 12 months, a calendar month or quarter ("This month", "Last month", "This quarter", "Last quarter"), one of your recent Planner cycles when the Planner is on, or a "Custom range". The numbers redraw. A calendar or cycle choice keeps exactly its days, so a saved copy or a link shows the same ones later.
  5. Optionally tick "Add AI summary".
  6. Press "Save report". A message says "Report saved", with "View" to open the copy and Undo to remove it. To look without keeping a copy, open the … menu and choose "Run without saving".
