Write a bug a coding agent can fix
Give a bug its facts in place: where and how often it shows, the steps, a lead on the cause and worked examples.
In short
A bug an agent can fix says where it was seen, how often it shows and one worked example. The facts are edited on the card, never in a popup, and saving them never changes the title or the description.
Steps
- Open the bug and open "More about this card".
- Press "Edit the bug facts".
- Fill "Seen in", "How often" and the steps, expected and actual.
- Add a row under "Worked examples": given, got and expected. Tick "Control row" for a case that works and must keep working.
- Press "Save".
Good to know
- "Suspected cause" is always read as a lead to check, never as a finding.
- Three checklist steps of a new bug are people-only: they stay off the agent's package.
