Let a bug report ask the right questions
A client's "Something is wrong" and "Create bug" fill in a bug's steps, what was expected and what happened, so nobody types them twice.
In short
A bug a coding agent can fix says what was done, what was expected and what happened. On the client page, "Something is wrong" asks those three questions and the answer becomes a Bug card with its report filled in. "Create bug" on a failed test fills where it was seen and how often.
Report a problem from the client page
- On the board's client page, choose "Something is wrong".
- Answer "What did you do? Write the steps.", "What did you expect to happen?" and "What happened instead?".
- Press "Send the problem to the team".
File a bug from a failed test
- Open a failed run of a test and press "Create bug".
- Read the new card's bug facts: "Seen in" and "How often" are already filled.
Good to know
- On a board without a Bug type, the three answers follow the description as labelled paragraphs.
- All three answers are needed before the problem is sent.
- What a tested service answered stays on the card for people and never reaches a coding agent.
