Run a card's coding agent in your CI
Let your own coding agent build one card inside GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines, with your AI key and the card's credential.
In short
The {{brand}} CLI ships a card-agent template for GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines. The job installs the CLI, starts your agent host with kamocore mcp in card mode and gives it the card's credential. The agent reads the card, builds and tests, opens a pull request and asks for a round. {{brand}} runs the locked tests; a person merges.
Steps
- Copy the card-agent template from the {{brand}} CI templates into the repository, kamocore-card-agent.yml, and add your AI key as its secret.
- On the card, choose "Give to a coding agent" and press "Give to agent".
- Copy the "Credential" and keep it as the job's secret, KAMOCORE_AGENT_TOKEN on GitHub.
- Start the job by hand. The card's "Coding agent" part shows the pull request and each round.
Good to know
- The card's package tells the agent the build and test commands from the board's agent guidance.
- Only branch protection on the default branch stops a push there; set it on your git host.
- Run the job with no production secrets: it holds only the card's credential, your AI key and the right to push a branch.
- {{brand}} spends no AI on the run: the agent uses your key and your runners.
