Say when a card is done

Write the card's done-when lines, link each to a test or a person, and say what is out of scope.

In short

The card brief holds when the card is done. Each line goes by DW1, DW2 and so on, and each can name what checks it: a test linked to the card, or a person. A story keeps its done-when lines in its story facts.

Steps

1. Open the card and open "For whoever builds it".
2. Press "Write the brief", or "Edit the card brief" once it has one.
3. Add lines under "Done when" and pick what checks each in "Checked by".
4. Add what is "Out of scope", then press "Save".

Good to know

• Readiness warns on a card with no done-when line and on an empty out-of-scope list.
