Make a clickable prototype and share it
Link your drawn screens so a tap moves from one to the next, play them, and send a link for approval.
In short
Draw two or more screens, then say what happens when someone taps a button: go to another screen, go back, or open a dialog.
Press "Play" to click through them like the real app. Share a link, and your client clicks through and approves or declines.
Before you start
- Who: someone who can edit the design. Sharing for approval needs someone who manages it.
- Plan: any plan with the Designer. Your plan sets how many approval links can be open at once.
- First: at least two drawn screens (see /help/designer/draw-a-screen).
Link the screens
- Open a drawn page and select a button or a link.
- In the panel, open "On tap" and choose "Goes to a screen".
- Pick the "Screen". A small arrow now marks the element.
The other choices are "Goes back" and "Opens a dialog or drawer". A dialog stays hidden until someone taps.
Play it
- Press "Play".
- Pick a "Frame": "Phone", "Tablet" or "Desktop".
- Tap what a person would tap. "Back" goes back and "Start again" starts over. Escape ends.
Tap anywhere else and the parts that can be tapped light up.
Share it for approval
- In Play, press "Share for approval".
- Type "Their email address" and the "Days the link lasts".
- Choose "I copy the link" or let {{brand}} email it, then press "Make the link".
The person needs no account. They click through every screen the taps reach, up to 20, and press "Approve" or "Decline". The link shows the screens as they were kept when you shared.
Let AI do it
Ask AI to make the clickable prototype: name the element and the screen it opens. It writes the taps into the draft, and "Undo" takes them back.
