Discuss a design with everyone on it

Every design has one discussion that everyone who can open it reads, also from the cards and endpoints the design planned.

In short

A design's discussion is a conversation that belongs to the design. Everyone who can open the design reads and writes it, and nobody else. It also shows, read-only, under the cards the plan made and on the endpoints the design plans, with "Open discussion".

Before you start

Who: everyone who can open the design reads and writes it, and nobody else. When the workspace is read only, the discussion can be read but not written in.
Plan: Designer is part of every plan, Free included. The Free plan limits how many designs a workspace keeps; Plan & usage shows the limit and what you hold.
First: nothing.

Steps

Open the design, choose "Panels" and then "Discussion".
Write in "Write about this design…" and send. Reply in a thread or react as in Chat.

Result: the line elsewhere reads, for example, "4 messages, 2 new".

Good to know

Who reads it follows the design's access: someone who loses access to the design loses the discussion too.
On a phone the discussion takes the whole screen.

If something goes wrong

"You cannot open this discussion" - it belongs to a design you can no longer open.
"This workspace is read only for now, so the discussion can be read but not written in."
