Plan a meeting about a feature
Put a Planner event about a design in the calendar, with an agenda written from its open questions, changes and failing steps.
In short
When a feature needs people in a room, {{brand}} writes the agenda for you. It lists open questions, steps changed since sign-off, failing or drifting steps and cards changed while the design moved. The meeting becomes a Planner event linked to the design.
Before you start
- Who: you become the organizer of the event. The participants are the agenda's people plus those you add.
- Plan: Designer and Planner must both be on your plan.
- First: have some open questions, changes or failing steps; otherwise the agenda is empty.
Steps
- Open the design, choose "Review" and then "Questions and decisions", then press "Plan a feature meeting".
- Read the "Agenda". Choose when it "Starts" and its "Length" (15 to 90 minutes).
- Check the "Participants" - the people the agenda concerns - and "Add a participant" if needed.
- Press "Put it in Planner".
Result: "Meeting planned", with "Open in Planner".
Good to know
- Participants are the agenda's people plus those you add; you are the organizer.
- The event is linked to the design, so it shows on the design's related records.
- What happens next: the meeting is a Planner event linked to the design, so it shows on the design's related records.
If something goes wrong
- "Nothing is on the agenda yet" - there is no open question, change, failing step or conflict to discuss.
- "Choose when it starts."
