Read a service's lessons, owners and evidence
Four reports from a service page: what the service teaches, ownership and who it depends on, change-management evidence, and evidence for an auditor.
In short
A service page's "People" section shows its owners, how many people worked on it in the last 90 days, and flags such as "Depends on one person". Under "Reports about this service" four reports open with the service already chosen.
Before you start
- Who: the ownership report needs access to read roles, or you must lead a team.
- Plan: Designer and Analytics must both be on your plan. The two evidence reports come with the Business and Enterprise plans.
- First: link the service's records on its page (see /help/designer/service-page).
Steps
- Open the service page and find "People".
- Under "Reports about this service", choose a report.
- Choose the period and press run, then download it as Word, Excel, CSV or Markdown if you need to.
The four reports
Good to know
- Hours are team totals from weeks with enough people, never one person's time, and never money.
- Ownership names people only to readers who may see access; a team lead sees the people of their teams, others one total.
- The two evidence reports come with the Business and Enterprise plans. They are evidence for your change-management control, not a certification.
- "Draft a vacancy" opens a role prefilled from the service; "Polish with AI" can reword it.
- "Depends on one person" means one owner or none, or one person did all the work in the period.
If something goes wrong
- A report says it is available on the Business and Enterprise plans: the evidence reports are not on your plan.
- You are refused the ownership report: it needs access to read roles, or you must lead a team.
