Act on what needs you

What puts an item in Needs you, how it is ordered and how to turn a failed run into a bug.

In short

Needs you asks every module you have on what needs you now. It lists the most pressing items, each with its action: open a failing run, review applicants or reply to a mention. A failure can become a bug card in one step.

Before you start

Act on an item

  1. Open Home and find the Needs you tile. Red marks something broken or late, amber something waiting for you.
  2. Press the item's action: "Open", "Review", "Reply" or "Create bug". Rows that say the same about the same place fold into one, with how many.
  3. When more wait than the tile shows, press "... more need you" at its foot. A panel opens with the whole list, by project.
  4. Press "Not now" on a first-step item you want to put aside.

Create a bug from a failure

  1. Press "Create bug" on the failing row.
  2. Pick the board - the one you used last is chosen - and the severity. Add a title only if you want your own.
  3. Press "Create bug", then "Open card" in the message.

The failure's own module fills the bug: the steps to repeat it, what was expected and what happened, the evidence and, for a UI run, the screenshot. The card and the failure link to each other.
