What each part of Home shows, what the greeting line counts and how to hide or bring back a widget.

In short

Home is your first screen after sign-in: a greeting card with what needs you today and the next step, then tiles such as Needs you, Testing health and Activity. A new account sees only the greeting, Get started and what needs you at first; someone already at work here sees every tile, with Get started folded to one line. The header on every screen leads to Products, Jobs, Help, search, your inbox, Ask AI and your account.

Before you start

Read your Home page

  1. Read the greeting card. It shows today's date, the workspace you are in, one sentence on what needs you today, one main button for the next step and up to three figures. It also shows "Jump back in", the places you had open last.
  2. Read the tiles below, starting with Needs you.
  3. Press "Customize" above the tiles. A panel opens at the side, where you switch tiles on or off and choose what comes first: Automatic, Testing and work, or Hiring. A tile that shows only when it has something to say says so, and the hiring tiles sit together in their own fold.

Find a product

  1. Open "Products" in the header (point at it, click it, or press Enter or the Down arrow on it).
  2. Choose a product from its group: Testing (API Tester, SQL Tester, Cache Tester, UI Tester), Work (Boards, Planner, Notes, Designer, Time tracker), Team (Chat, Organizations) or Insights (Analytics, the AI assistant).
  3. You land where you left off in it, such as the role, stage and candidate you last had open.

On a phone, the bar at the bottom holds Home, Jobs, Search, Inbox and Menu; signed out it holds "Start free". Menu opens the same groups, then Help, your account and the language.

The greeting line

A visit ends after half an hour away. Short breaks, such as a meeting or a coffee, do not reset it.
