Find a role and apply
Search the open roles, see how your skills match and send an application.
In short
Job search lists every open role posted here. Filter by what you want, open a role and press "Apply": the hiring team gets a copy of your profile and CV as they are at that moment.
Before you start
- Who: Anyone with an account can use Find work. A candidate never needs a role or a plan to apply. You need a confirmed email address to apply.
- Plan: none. Applying costs the candidate nothing.
- First: nothing is required, but a headline, a skill and a resume make your application stronger (see /help/jobs/candidate-profile).
Find a role
- Open Jobs & hiring and choose "Job search". If the title shows "Hiring", open it and pick "Find work" first.
- Type in "Search jobs" (a role, company or skill), or use "Location", "Least yearly pay" and "Posted", or tick "Matches my CV".
- Turn on "Remote" to keep only the roles you can do from anywhere. The list opens on "Posted here"; choose "From the web" or "All" for the jobs the job agent found.
- Open a role to read everything about it.
Apply
- Open the role - from Job search, Saved, a shared link, a notification or the public job board.
- Optionally add a note for the hiring team, up to 4,000 characters.
- Press "Apply". The application appears in "Applications".
Good to know
- Roles come 30 to a page. Changing a filter takes you back to page 1. Your search, filters, page and order stay in the address, so a shared link shows the same results.
- "Location" and "Skill" match part of the text: "Baku" finds "Baku, Azerbaijan", "SQL" finds "SQL Server". "Minimum yearly salary" compares the top of a role's range as a yearly amount.
- "Best match" counts how many of a role's skills are in your profile, so add skills first. It orders the 30 roles on the page. A card's skill match is a hint, not a filter.
- The team sees your headline, summary, skills, years of experience, location, resume and verified skill scores as they are when you apply. Later edits change future applications only.
- You can apply to a role once, even if you withdraw. When a team uses resume summaries, the role says so before you apply.
- Find work's main button is "Complete profile" until your profile has a headline, a skill and where you want to work. It disappears once they are filled in.
- What happens next: the application appears under "Applications" and the hiring team is told. To change your mind, withdraw it there (see /help/jobs/my-applications).
- Filters beyond the first three wait behind "More filters", and on a phone all of them move into one sheet. Whatever narrows the list shows as a chip you can remove.
If something goes wrong
- "Confirm your email address before you apply, so the hiring team can reach you.": press "Send the link again", open the link, and you come back to the role.
- "This vacancy is no longer accepting applications.": the role was closed, is still a draft, or its closing date passed.
- "You've already applied to this vacancy.": find it in Applications.
- "Not found": the role is a draft or closed and you are not on its hiring team.
