Summarize CVs with AI
AI writes a short, factual summary of each resume for your team; a workspace turns it on or off.
In short
When someone applies with a resume, AI writes a short, factual summary of it for the people reviewing the application. It reports only what the resume says and never judges, scores, ranks or compares anyone. A workspace turns it on or off.
Before you start
- Who: people who manage hiring switch it on or off. Every reviewer reads the summaries.
- Plan: it runs on the platform's AI, so it uses a little of the workspace's AI budget and one processed document each.
- First: nothing. It is on by default.
Turn it on or off
- Open Jobs › "Hiring" › "More" › "Hiring settings".
- Switch on "Summarize CVs with AI".
- Press Save. "Hiring settings saved" confirms it.
When there is no summary
"Summarize again" on the applicant sheet tries once more - only after the AI was unavailable or a limit was reached.
Good to know
- It is on by default. A workspace that summarizes resumes says so on its roles before anyone applies, and a change applies to people who apply from then on.
- A summary holds highlights, skills, recent roles and the years of experience the resume suggests. People make every decision.
- It runs on the platform's AI, never on a person's own key. Each summary uses a little of the workspace's AI budget and one processed document.
- A candidate reads the summary of their own resume on their application.
- When the same person applies to another of your roles with the same resume, the summary already written is used again, with no second AI request. A summary is never taken from another workspace.
If something goes wrong
- "The settings couldn't be saved": try again; only people who manage hiring change them.
- Summaries paused: the AI budget or processed documents are used up. They continue after the reset.
