Read hiring insights
See how far applicants get, how long a hire takes, where people wait, why they are turned down and where they come from.
In short
Insights shows how far applicants get, how long a hire takes, where people wait, why they are turned down and where they come from - for the roles you manage. It names no applicant.
Before you start
- Who: people who manage hiring see Insights for the roles they manage, or the roles they posted in their own workspace.
- Plan: Jobs is part of every plan, Free included.
- First: nothing to set up.
Steps
- Open Jobs › "Hiring" › "Insights".
- Choose a window: 30 days, 90 days or 12 months. It is kept in the address, so a shared link shows the same numbers.
- Read the measures and the sources below.
What is counted
Where applicants came from
Each application keeps where the candidate came from. The sources are Jobs search, Saved roles, the public job board, an organization's page and a shared link. Others are a job alert, a direct link, a teammate's referral, or added by the hiring team. "Not recorded" means none of these. Read it as which ways in work, not as proof about any one person.
Good to know
- A median is the middle value, so one very slow hire does not make every hire look slow.
- You see your organization's roles you manage, or the roles you posted in your own workspace.
- Analytics › Reports › Hiring pipeline reports similar numbers over a period, also without naming applicants.
- The insights page has a "Download" menu with Excel and PDF of what is on screen. The files name no applicant.
