Let {{brand}} look for remote jobs
Tell the job search what you want once. It brings you the best new remote jobs, keeps one approved letter and sends the email applications you approve.
In short
The job search reads job sites that allow it and brings you up to 10 new jobs from each site per search. You approve one letter, tick the jobs you want, and {{brand}} sends the email applications for you. For every other job it shows you where to apply yourself.
Before you start
- Plan: Pro, Business or Enterprise. Free shows what the job search does.
- First: upload your CV on your profile (see /help/jobs/candidate-profile) and confirm your email address - {{brand}} only sends from a confirmed address.
Say what you want
- Open Jobs & hiring, choose "Find work" and then "Job agent".
- Open "Setup". Choose the "Country you work from" and "Least you will take", with its "Currency".
- Choose a "Mode": "Passive" brings the week's best three while you have a job, "Active" searches when you ask and once a day if you want, "Urgent" searches every day and also shows jobs without a salary.
The daily search stops on its own after 14 days and asks if you are still looking, so nothing keeps running after you stopped.
Search
- Press "Search now". In a moment the new jobs are in Job search under "From the web" - "See what it found" opens them.
- Open a job to see why it fits, which skills it asks for that your profile lacks, and the salary as a yearly amount in your currency.
Jobs that ask for money, pay in crypto or want you to talk only on a messenger app are held back. Open them only if you want to look. If a job looks fake, report it (see /help/jobs/report-a-fake-job).
Apply
- {{brand}} sends: a {{brand}} role, or a job that asks for your CV by email. Press "Send letter" on its row in Job search, or open it and press "Send application" - your approved letter and CV go out, and replies come to your own email.
- You send: a company page or a job site. Open the link, copy the ready letter and press "I applied".
- {{brand}} does nothing here: LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor. {{brand}} never reads or acts there; apply there yourself.
{{brand}} sends at most 10 emails a day and never writes to the same company twice in 30 days.
Write one letter
- Open "Letter" and press "New letter" to write one, or use "Draft with AI" and edit the draft.
- Keep {company} and {role} in it - {{brand}} fills them in for each job.
- Press "Approve". Nothing goes out with a letter you have not approved, and changing the text takes the approval back.
Choose what uses AI
Finding and sorting jobs uses no AI. On "Setup", open "More settings": under "AI help - you choose what uses your AI credits" each AI helper - AI job checks per search, letter drafts, interview questions, practice feedback - has its own switch or number with the credits it takes, and you see how many credits are left this month. With your own AI key nothing counts toward the month.
Follow up on what you sent
- On the Job agent, open "Sent". Under "Applications" each job you applied for shows where it stands; pick a state such as "Applied" or "Interview" to see only those.
- Under "Follow-ups due", read the short text ready for each job with no reply seven days after you applied, and change it if you want.
- Press "Send follow-up" when {{brand}} sent the application by email. For any other job press "Copy follow-up", send it yourself, then press "I sent it".
- Under "Interviews", press "Download for your calendar" to add an interview to your calendar.
See each search
- Open "Runs". Each search is listed, the newest first: what started it ("Search now", "Daily run" or "Weekly run"), when, how many jobs it looked at, how many new jobs it brought and any AI tokens it took.
- Read its state: "Waiting", "Running", "Done" or "Failed". A failed search says why under it.
Read your insights
- Open "Insights". "Skills your matches ask for" lists the skills asked for most in the last 30 days that your profile lacks.
- Press "Make a Planner task" beside a skill to add a task to learn it to Planner.
- Read "Salary watch" for what remote jobs asking for your skills pay, and "This week", "All time" and "Reply rate per letter" for how your applications are going.
After you apply
- Open a job and add its "Interview time" to get a calendar file ("Download for your calendar") and a reminder the day before; "Prepare questions" gives you likely questions to practise.
- Note each offer on its job to compare them under "Offers side by side" on "Sent", as yearly amounts before tax.
- When you get a job, press "I found a job" at the bottom of "Setup", then "Turn it off". The search, the daily run and every queued email stop, and your history stays.
