Refer someone for a role

Share your own link to one of your organization's open roles, or refer a person yourself, and follow their stage under Referrals.

In short

Any member of an organization can refer people to its open roles. Share your own link to a role - an application through it names you - or refer a person by their email. Under Referrals you see where each person stands, in plain words.

Before you start

Share your referral link

  1. Open one of your organization's open roles, for example from Jobs › "Job search".
  2. Under "Know someone for this role?", press "Copy my link".
  3. Send the link to the person. When they apply through it, the application names you as the referrer.

Refer a person yourself

  1. On the role, press "Refer someone".
  2. Fill in "Their email" and "Their name", and optionally "What they do" and "A note for the hiring team".
  3. Press "Refer them". They join the role as a candidate and get an email.

Follow your referrals

  1. Open Jobs › Hiring › "More" › "Referrals" - or, on Find work, "More" › "Referrals" if you cannot hire here.
  2. Each row shows the person, the role and "Their application is …", with the date you referred them.

See who refers the most (hiring managers)

  1. Open Jobs › Hiring › "More" › "Referrals". If you manage hiring in the organization, "Referral leaderboard" shows under your own referrals.
  2. Pick the period - 30 days, 90 days or 12 months - and, if you like, one team to count only the roles filed under it.
  3. Each row shows who referred, how many people, how many are still in the process and how many were hired. Hired counts first.

Only people who manage hiring see the leaderboard. It names no candidate, and someone who has left the organization drops off it.
