Start a role from a template or job post
Fill the posting form from a template, a recent role or text you already have, and read the live preview.
In short
"Start from…" fills the posting form from a starter template, one your workspace saved, a recent role, or a job description you paste. A live preview beside the form shows the role as candidates will see it.
Before you start
- Who: the same people who can post a role. Anyone who can open the role composer can use them.
- Plan: "Draft with AI" uses a little of your plan's AI budget on the platform's AI. Templates and "Fill the form" use no AI.
- First: open the role composer.
Start from a template or a job post
- In the role composer press "Start from…".
- Pick a starter template, a saved template or a recent role - or paste a job description.
- For pasted text, press "Fill the form" (read in your browser, fills only empty fields) or "Draft with AI".
- Read every field, then press "Publish role" or "Save draft".
To save a template, open a role's … menu and choose "Save as template…".
The live preview
Beside the form, the card redraws as you type, as a candidate sees it in Find roles. "Listing strength" counts how many of six things are filled in: title, organization, description, location, skills and a salary range. A title and a description are enough to publish; candidates filter and match on the rest.
Good to know
- "Draft with AI" sends the text (up to 50,000 characters) to AI. It drafts from the facts in the text, invents no pay or requirements, and leaves out requirements about age, gender, nationality, religion, health or a photo. On the platform's AI it uses a little of your plan's AI budget.
- A draft from AI is a starting point. Remove anything you would not ask of a candidate.
- Nothing is published until you press "Publish role".
If something goes wrong
- "You can keep up to {count} templates. Delete one first."
- AI is not available: use "Fill the form", or write the fields yourself.
