Create a private link to your skill scores, and know what a hiring team sees when you apply.
In short
Make a private link to your skill scores to send to anyone. When you apply, your current scores travel with the application, so the hiring team sees them too.
Before you start
- Who: the owner of the profile.
- Plan: none.
- First: have at least one accepted piece of evidence.
Share a link
- Open Jobs & hiring › "Find work" › "Profile" › Verified skills.
- For each accepted piece of evidence, choose whether it is shown.
- Press "Create share link". The link is copied for you.
- To stop a link, press "Revoke" beside it and confirm "Revoke link".
Treat the link like a password Anyone you forward it to can forward it on. Make a new link for a new audience rather than reusing an old one.
Good to know
- The link holds a long random token, not your name. It shows your headline, summary and scores, plus only the evidence that is accepted and set to show.
- A link never expires until you revoke it, and it is rate limited. Revoking is final.
- When you apply, your current scores and accepted evidence are copied onto the application. The team sees up to four of your highest-scoring skills in a Verified skills strip, and can order applicants by their verified scores.
- Evidence accepted after you applied does not change that application; your next application carries the newer scores.
If something goes wrong
- A link reports not found: it was revoked or copied incompletely. Make a new one.
