Subscribe to your agenda in another calendar
Create a private, read-only link that Outlook, Google Calendar or any calendar app can subscribe to.
In short
A calendar feed is a private, read-only link that Outlook, Google Calendar or any calendar app can subscribe to, so your Planner shows there too.
Before you start
- Who: anyone with Planner on, for their own feeds.
- Plan: Planner is part of every plan, Free included. Your plan caps the open items, calendars and cycles a workspace holds (Plan & usage shows them).
- First: a calendar app that can subscribe to an internet calendar.
Steps
- Open Planner settings (the title row's … menu), choose "Calendars" and go to "Share your calendar with an outside app".
- Pick what the link holds - "Everything I see" or one calendar - and press "Make a private link".
- Copy the subscription link straight away. It is shown only once.
- Add it to your calendar app as an internet calendar subscription.
Good to know
- The feed covers 30 days back to 90 days ahead and is read-only. Make changes in {{brand}}; your calendar app picks them up the next time it refreshes.
- The list shows when each link was last used.
The link is a key Anyone with the link can read what it holds. If it leaks, press "Cut off" beside it so calendars using it stop updating, and make a new link.
If something goes wrong
- "You can keep up to … feed links. Revoke one first.": press "Cut off" beside a link you no longer use.
- You lost the link: cut it off and make a new one; a link is never shown again.
