Plan my day or week
Let the assistant put your open tasks into the free time of your working hours as focus blocks, and check them before anything is made.
In short
"Plan my day" takes your open tasks that have no time yet and gives each a focus block in your free working time - around your events and focus blocks, approved time off and the busy times of a connected calendar. Urgent tasks and tasks due soon go first. Your tasks keep their due dates.
Before you start
- Who: anyone with the assistant switched on for them. The plan itself is worked out without AI.
- Set your working hours in Planner settings; without them, the hours your calendar shows count (Monday to Friday for a week).
- Give tasks an estimate to get blocks of the right length; a task without one gets 30 minutes.
Plan your day
- Open "Planner" on "Today" or "Week".
- Choose "Plan my day" (or "Plan my week"), or ask the assistant "plan my day tomorrow".
- Read the blocks it proposes and the tasks it found no room for.
- Confirm. The blocks appear on your calendar; Undo removes them while nobody changed them.
If something goes wrong
- "Nothing to plan": every open task already has a time or a focus block to come.
- "No free time left": your working hours are full; plan another day or the week.
- "Your plan changed meanwhile": something moved since the preview - look at the new plan and confirm again.
