See test schedules on the calendar
How API Tester, UI Tester, report and verification schedules appear in Planner.
In short
Recurring test and report schedules, including those of SQL Tester and Cache Tester, appear in Planner at every time they will run, and past runs carry their verdict. A red day is visible before you open it.
Before you start
- Who: anyone with Planner on who can open the schedules. With Only mine selected you see the schedules and monitors you set up; choose your team to see the rest of the workspace.
- Plan: Planner is part of every plan, Free included. Your plan caps the open items, calendars and cycles a workspace holds (Plan & usage shows them). The schedules themselves follow their own module's plan.
- First: switch on "Test schedules" and "Report schedules" under "Show".
Steps
- Open Planner › "Week" (or "Today" or "Month").
- Press "Show" and switch on "Test schedules" and "Report schedules".
- Read the entries: future runs at their times, past runs with pass or fail, failed monitor cycles in red.
- Click an entry to open the schedule or run in its module.
Good to know
- A daily API Tester schedule shows on each day of the week, an hourly one on every hour, up to a sensible limit per schedule. UI Tester and report schedules work the same way.
- Each failed API Tester monitor cycle is a red entry at the time it failed.
- API verification reviews with a due date appear on that date: your own waiting reviews with Only mine selected, otherwise every open stage in the workspace.
- A SQL Tester or Cache Tester schedule shows only its next run, as monitors do, because it runs every few minutes. A SQL Tester schedule also shows its last run with how many tests passed and failed. Runs of Cache Tester checks appear on the day they ran.
- With Only mine selected, test entries are the schedules and monitors you set up and the runs you started. Choose your team to see the rest of the workspace.
