See every connection to your other tools in one place
Integrations lists how {{brand}} sends news out, takes it in and connects to your other tools, with what is set up for you and where to change it.
In short
Settings › Integrations shows, as cards, every way {{brand}} connects to your other tools: webhooks, repositories, tokens, calendars, the browser extension and AI keys. Each card says what is set up for you and opens the screen where you change it. The page itself changes nothing.
Before you start
- Who: anyone signed in sees the page. Webhooks and Slack and Teams are managed by people with "Change organization settings"; service accounts by people with "Manage access tokens and service accounts".
- Plan: none for the page. Each card follows its own feature's plan.
- First: nothing. The page only shows names and counts.
Steps
- Open Settings › "Integrations". The workspace you are in is named at the top.
- Open the group you need: "Send events out", "Bring events in", "Automation and CI", "Calendars", "Browser" or "AI". A group with something set up is already open.
- Read a card's state line, such as "2 endpoints" or "Not set up".
- Press the card's button, such as "Manage webhooks" or "Manage access tokens", to set it up on its own screen. In an organization, webhooks, chat and repositories go straight to its Connections.
When nothing is connected yet, the page offers first steps: "Add a webhook", "Make an access token", "Set up the command line" and "Connect a calendar".
Reading a card
- A count, such as "2 endpoints" or "1 active token": that many are set up.
- "Connected as" followed by an account name: a calendar you connected.
- "Not set up": nothing yet.
- "Set up in each board" or "Set up in each project": these live inside a board or a project, so the button opens Boards or API Tester.
- "Extension found" or "Not found in this browser": whether the browser extension answered from this tab.
- "Not offered on this server": the server has no outside calendar to connect.
- "Could not be checked": the list did not load. Open the screen from the card to see why.
Good to know
- In your personal workspace every card is yours. In an organization the page follows what your role allows.
- A module that is switched off leaves out its cards.
- Webhooks and Slack and Teams are managed by people who manage the organization's settings; service accounts by people who manage access tokens. For anyone else the card says "Managed by an admin" and names whom to ask.
- Service accounts belong to an organization, so they appear only while you work in one.
What the page never shows
Integrations shows names and counts only. It never shows an access token, a webhook's signing secret or address, a calendar feed link, a repository secret or an AI provider key. A secret is shown once, by the screen that makes it, and nowhere else.
