Sign in through your company's identity provider
Use Continue with single sign-on when your organization has set it up, and what to do when it asks for something more.
In short
If your company connected its identity provider, you sign in with your work email and "Continue with single sign-on". The first time, an account is made for you, or your existing account is connected.
Before you start
- Who: anyone whose work email is at a domain your organization has proved and connected.
- Plan: the organization needs single sign-on, which comes with the Enterprise plan; a private installation has its own provider.
- First: your work email address, and a sign-in at your company's provider.
Steps
- Open "Sign in" and type your work email address.
- Open "Other ways to sign in" and press "Continue with single sign-on" (it may show your company's name instead).
- Sign in at your company's provider.
- You come back to {{brand}} signed in.
Good to know
- If you have no account yet, one is made for you and you join your organization.
- If an account with that address already exists, only its owner connects it. Sign in the usual way once, or press "Email me a link that connects it" and open the link within 30 minutes. Connecting removes the account's password and passkeys, ends its access tokens and signs out every device.
- If your organization requires single sign-on, signing in with a password says so and offers the same button.
- If your account has its own second step, you are still asked for it.
If something goes wrong
- "Single sign-on is not set up for this address. Sign in with your password instead.": your organization has not set it up for your email domain.
- "Your identity provider has not marked your email address as verified" or "did not share your email address": ask your administrator to fix it at the provider.
- "That sign-in took too long, or it was started in another browser. Try again.": start again from the sign-in form, in the same browser.
- "Your email address is not at a domain your organization has proved.": use the work address your organization gave you.
- "Single sign-on is not set up correctly. Ask your administrator to check the connection."
