Change what you want to do first
Your goal puts its guided tasks first in Get started and in the palette's suggestions - it never turns a module on or off.
In short
The goal you pick in the welcome page - test APIs, plan work, hire and more - orders Get started on Home and the palette's suggestions. When you finish a guided task, its card offers the next one. Change the goal any time in Settings.
Before you start
- Who: anyone.
- Plan: none. A goal changes order only, never access or plans.
- First: nothing.
Steps
- Open Settings › "Products" and find "What you want to do first".
- Choose "Your goal", or "No goal - the usual order".
Result: it is saved at once, and Get started and the suggestions follow the new order.
Good to know
- A goal changes order only - never access, plans or which modules are on.
- A guided task is finished the moment what it says is true. It then shows "Next:" - its own later step first, then the same module's follow-up, then the rest of Get started.
- When every Get started task is finished, Home shows "You are all set" once, with "Start something new from a template".
- In the welcome page you can pick several cards. Get started follows the first one you picked; you can change it here any time.
If something goes wrong
- Get started still shows a module you do not use: turn the module off under "Products"; the goal does not.
