See your team's time and decide timesheets

Read everyone's week in the organization, approve or return timesheets, and run the Team time report.

In short

People whose role has See team time and decide timesheets get a Team tab: everyone's week in the organization, where each timesheet stands, and Approve week or Return it. Team leads can decide their branch's weeks where the organization allows it.

Before you start

Read the Team tab

  1. Open Time tracker › "Team". Everyone in the organization is listed with their time on each day, their total and their timesheet's status.
  2. Choose a team in "Team" to narrow the list. While timesheets wait, the list opens on "Waiting for you", where you can tick and approve them together; "Everyone" lists the rest. The count sits under the table, a page at a time.

"Of expected" sets each person's time against what they were expected to track: their daily target over the organization's working days of the week so far. Someone without a daily target shows "No daily target". Under the table, "Where the time went" reads the week by tag and by work, each with its share; work on a record you cannot open is one line without a title. The download adds expected hours and, where three or more people tracked time, the time by tag and by record.

Approve or return a week

  1. Press a person's name, or "Review" beside a submitted timesheet. Their week opens with the entries day by day.
  2. Read the entries of the week. A linked record shows its title only if you can open it yourself; otherwise the entry shows no title.
  3. Press "Approve week" to approve it - this locks the week.
  4. Or press "Return it", say what should change and press "Return week". The person reads your note in their inbox and on their week.

Team reports

Reports has Team time: the organization's tracked time for any period by person, by team, by tag and by piece of work, with exports to Excel, Word and CSV. Someone in two teams counts in both. Work on a record you cannot open is listed without its title. Team workload shows hours by person to the people who can see team time; everyone else sees team totals only, where three or more people of a team tracked time.

Time on a board shows each card's estimate beside its time, and sets the done cards with an estimate against the hours tracked on them in the period: by estimate, and as hours per estimate point.
