Cache Tester
Browse and edit your own Redis servers: scan keys, change values, run commands and read the audit trail. Every change is recorded, a connection string is never shown again and Production is read-only.
- Connect a Redis server - Add a Redis connection, test it and see its keys.
- Try Redis commands without saving - Run commands in the Console on the sample cache, or on a practice cache that is yours alone, with nothing saved for the team.
- Find your way around the Cache Tester - The tabs, the connection rail, the database picker, and who can open which connection.
- Choose a tier and lock a connection - What each tier allows, and how Read-only and Enabled protect a server.
- Fix a connection that will not connect - Read what Test connection says and what to change.
- Find a key and read its value - Scan a database with a pattern and open a key to see its type, TTL and value.
- Create and change a key - Create a key, edit its value, set or remove a TTL and rename it.
- Delete keys and flush a database - Remove one key, a selection, every match or a whole database.
- Run a raw command - Type a command the way redis-cli would, and know which commands the Console forwards.
- Read the server's health - What the Server tab's tiles say about uptime, clients, memory and hit rate.
- Read the audit trail - See who changed or tried to change a cache, and when.
- Add and run tests - Save read-only tests of your keys, run them whenever you like and see what changed since a test last passed.
