Settings
Your account and how {{brand}} behaves for you: your profile and sign-in, which products you see, how it looks, the plan and limits that apply to your workspace, and, for site admins, the console that sets the rules for everyone.
- Choose the products you see - Switch products on or off for yourself, and use the welcome page that asks what brings you here.
- Change what you want to do first - Your goal puts its guided tasks first in Get started and in the palette's suggestions - it never turns a module on or off.
- Try the examples, then take them away - Add small examples to try right away, see where they are, and remove them in one place.
- See your organization's settings from Settings - Find the organization's settings in four groups, and what you can do there when you are not an admin.
- Create an account and sign in - Sign up, confirm your email address and sign in.
- Reset or change your password - Get a reset link by email, set a new password and know what it ends.
- Change your name, photo and email - The Profile page: the name and photo people see, your sign-in email and your professional profile.
- Turn on two-step sign-in - Ask for a code from an authenticator app at sign-in, and keep recovery codes safe.
- Sign in with a passkey - Use your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of typing a password.
- Sign in with Google or Microsoft - Use Continue with Google or Microsoft to sign up or sign in, or link one to your account in Settings to sign in with one click.
- Sign in through your company's identity provider - Use Continue with single sign-on when your organization has set it up, and what to do when it asks for something more.
- See where you are signed in - List your signed-in devices, sign one out, or sign out everywhere.
- Download your data or delete your account - Get a copy of what {{brand}} holds about you, or delete your account for good.
- Change how {{brand}} looks and behaves - Pick a theme, accent and density, and switch help hints, motion and single-key shortcuts.
- Choose how notifications reach you - Set Instant, Digest or Muted for each module, refine Chat and Planner, and turn on device notifications.
- Control the emails {{brand}} sends you - Turn the weekly summary, chat digest and tips on or off, and stop any email without signing in.
- See your plan and what it includes - Which plan applies to your workspace, how the four plans differ and what changes a plan.
- Read your limits and usage - Every limit by plan, how each kind counts and when it resets.
- What happens at a limit or on a smaller plan - What stays open, what waits, and how temporary raises and grace periods end.
- Storage limits and unused Free workspaces - How much a workspace can store on each plan, what counts, how to make room, and when an unused Free workspace's files are deleted.
- See every connection to your other tools in one place - Integrations lists how {{brand}} sends news out, takes it in and connects to your other tools, with what is set up for you and where to change it.
- Connect webhooks and prove you own a site - Send this workspace's news to Slack, Teams or your own service, and prove a site is yours so heavy tests may run against it.
- Connect Zapier, Make or n8n - Start a workflow in another app when something happens in {{brand}}, or let another app add cards and run tests.
- Use an access token in a script or pipeline - Make a token for one workspace and the modules a script needs, give your organization's pipeline an identity of its own, and revoke either the moment you no longer trust it.
- Install and connect the browser extension - Add the extension to Microsoft Edge and trust your {{brand}} so it can record only while you say so.
- Check what the extension can read - Exactly what each recording captures, what is masked and what it never reads.
- Record a website's API calls - Capture the calls a site makes while you use it and import them as requests.
- Record a UI track with the extension - Do a task once in the browser and let {{brand}} turn your steps into a UI Tester track.
- Open the admin console - Where the console is, what its sections do and how every request is checked.
- Set who can reach a feature - Give each capability an audience and an on/off switch.
- Create or edit a plan - The plan catalog, a plan's basics and the features it unlocks.
- Set plan limits and temporary limits - Switch limits on, lower them safely, and add promotions or grace periods.
- Manage a user and inspect their access - Change a plan, grant site admin and see what the access evaluator says for one person.
- Change an organization's plan and limits - Move an organization to another plan and raise a limit for it alone.
- Read the billing log - See every event a payment provider reported and find it at the provider.
- Review reports - Decide what happens to roles, profile links, chat messages and organizations that people reported.
- Read the activity history - An append-only timeline of saved changes across the product.
- Manage the license of a private installation - Upload the license of a {{brand}} Private installation, activate it with no internet connection, and know what happens when it ends.
- Connect a private installation to your identity provider - Name one identity provider for everyone on a {{brand}} Private installation, in the server's configuration, and read it back in the admin console.
- Use the other admin tabs - What Support inbox, Abuse, What's new, AI, Deployment, Activation and Business are for.
- Set the platform's AI limits and models - Cap what the platform's AI key spends each month, choose which model does which work, and which plans may use it.
- Look after job sources and reported jobs - Switch the sources Job search reads, see which ones fail, and decide on jobs people reported as fake.
- See and control a private installation's failure reports - On {{brand}} Private, every crash report is shown under Admin › Failure reports before anything leaves, and you can stop one from being sent.
- Mark the version that fixed a failure - See the kinds of failure private installations reported, and tell them which version fixes each.
- Fix a company connection - What each connection code means and what to change in your own system.
- Connect GitHub with the GitHub App - Install {{brand}}'s GitHub App on the repositories you choose. It only reads, and no personal token is kept.
